I am a co-founder at Kinsi, Inc and a citizen scientist. My development experience comes from building large scale, delay-tolerant systems, focused on delivering usable visualizations to the end user. I am also a hardware tinkerer and data scientist, with a strong interest in applying my skills to the community around open source hardware such as the Arduino and Raspberry Pi. I’ve built monitoring systems for industry and crop production, using embedded sensors and FPGAs.

Talk to me about: data analytics, civic tech, microcontrollers, delay-tolerant networking, peer-to-peer network protocols, distributed data.

I am interested in learning more about: data science, statistics, large-scale systems, R, Clojure, CAD systems, and Python.
